Synopsis of the show

Our first pre-production meeting went very well. Accomplished many tasks to prepare us for the next nine months in our journey to producing our show in January 2010. We have people on our staff now that will do the choreography, promotion and art for the posters. We want to thank all these people that are helping us to make our dream become a reality.

What does a show need to let everyone know what it is about? Yes, a synopsis! Here's ours!

Fonts: A Type of Musical - This one-act musical is about the adventures of several fonts who find meaning in their lives. They explore cyberspace, interacting with other fonts and folders, while making friends along the way. Through exploration and self-discovery, they learn that there is more out there than from where they originated.

Meet the Co-Authors of the show!

Meet Christopher--this photo is from his latest show, "Divine, Stella Devine!" Interestingly enough he played the part of Micole, the writer of the play!
Christopher thought to create a play about fonts in January 2007!

Here's Tim. This picture was taken during his portrayal of Tony Kirby in "You Can't Take it With You."
Tim is not only a co-author but writes all the lyrics and music for the songs used in our show!

This is Linda. She portrayed the Grand Duchess Olga Katrina also in "You Can't Take it With You."

We are very excited to be able to produce this show using the wonderful facilities at Canton's Village Theater at Cherry Hill. We can't thank Jennifer Tobin enough for including our show in the 2009-2010 line-up of entertainment scheduled for the theater.

Fonts:A Type of Musical ... so it begins

We just found out yesterday that our show will be produced January 22-24, 2010. We, Christopher, Tim and myself have kidded around saying it's like giving birth to a baby since the date is nine months away! We still have to confirm those dates with Jennifer at the theater, but it looks like those dates will work for us!

We will be having our first (of many) pre-production meetings on Friday, March 13 at Christopher's place.

More details (and some photos) to come!
